Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja REACTS To Divorce Rumours
Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja will be seen in the latest episode of the reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’, which is set to air this weekend. The latest promo of the upcoming episode shows Sunita addressing the ongoing rumours of her divorce with Govinda. Dismissing the rumours, she said that they have spent nearly 40 years together, and it is no small thing. She said that while everyone makes mistakes in their youth, a 62-year-old with two grown-up children can never make such mistakes.
The latest promo of Pati Patni Aur Panga shared by Colors TV on Instagram shows Abhishek Kumar asking Sunita Ahuja, “There is news about you and Govinda ji. Many people keep spreading rumors among themselves. What would you like to say to them?” Reacting to this, Sunita replied, “40 saal kya maamuli baat hota hai kaatna? Har aadmi karta hai galti yaar. Har cheez ki ek umar hoti hai. Apni Jawaani mein kar liya, but 62 saal mein jab itne bade bade bachche hain, toh kaise insaan galti karega? (Is spending 40 years such a small thing? Everyone makes mistakes. Everything has its own time. People make mistakes in their youth, but at 62 years of age, when on has such grown-up children, how will a person make mistakes?).” Check out the promo below!
A few days ago, Sunita was papped on the sets of Pati Patni Aur Panga, where her fun banter with the paps left everyone in splits. During the interaction, she said jokingly, “Jaake abhi dekhna kya panga karungi main, episode dekhoge to pata lagega. Panga queen hun main pata hai naa aap logon ko. (Go and see what trouble I will create, you will know if you watch the episode. You all know that I am the Panga queen.) She also talked about Govinda’s presence in the show and informed, “Sir aa rahe hai na. Baad mein dekhna aap log. (Sir is coming. See the episode later).”
Sunita Ahuja And Govinda’s Divorce Rumours
Last month, a Hauterrfly report claimed that Sunita Ahuja had filed for divorce from Govinda under Section 13 (1)(i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The report alleged that the court had summoned Govinda on May 25 and, since June, the two had been trying to work things out. While Sunita reportedly attended court hearings, Govinda was said to have been missing.
Sunita And Govinda’s Joint Appearance On Ganesh Chaturthi
A few days ago, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, the couple made a joint appearance as they welcomed Ganpati Bappa home. While talking to the media, they dismissed the divorce rumours, saying, “Aaj itna close, close… agar kuch hota toh hum itne nazdeek hotey? Humaari dooriyan hoti! Koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta hain, chahe upar se koi aa jaaye bhagwan aa jaaye, koi shaitaan aa jaaye. Koi nahi alag kar sakta hai. (If something had happened, would we be this close now? There would have been a distance between us. Nobody can separate us, not even God or the devil.)”
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in 1987, and have two children- daughter Tina Ahuja, and son Yashvardhan.
