Xiaomi Pad 8 has launched in India a day before when it was originally expected in the country alongside the new Xiaomi 17 series lineup. The Pad 8 Android tablet builds on the cycle of other Pad series from Xiaomi but this year the upgrades are on the higher side which also has a direct impact on how much the Xiaomi Pad 8 costs in the country.
You get it with a Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset, packing a large capacity battery and some useful tweaks to the software, which Xiaomi says makes this an almost PC-like alternative.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Price In India
Xiaomi Pad 8 price in India starts from Rs 33,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, going up to Rs 36,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 38,999 for the same model but with a nanotexture display. The Pad 8 will go on sale from March 17 in the country.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Specifications
The new Pad 8 version features a 11.2-inch display with 3.2K resolution and supports 144Hz refresh rate as well as Dolby Vision. You can get the Pad 8 with the regular or the nanotexture display.
The tablet is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. This hardware switch gives it improved overall performance, almost at the flagship level which will aid better multi-tasking for users.
The other major change is that you have the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 version available out of the box which brings a host of AI-powered tools as well as better computing tasks. The tablet has four speakers, four mics and gets support for magnetic keyboard which now has a trackpad unlike the Pad 7 accessory.
You get it with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter for video calls. Xiaomi Pad 8 comes loaded with a 9,200mAh battery which has been impressively built into a 5.75mm sleek frame and a tablet that weighs under 500 grams. The built-in battery only charges at 45W speed but the adapter is available in the box.
