US’ New Balance expands manufacturing amid record sales

In 2025, New Balance achieved $9.2 billion in annual global sales, up 19% from 2024, marking our fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth and market share gains worldwide, driven by our One NB culture of innovation and teamwork.

Our footwear and apparel products continued to deliver across lifestyle and performance, consistently meeting and exceeding consumer expectations. We launched our Asia Design Studio to unify our lifestyle apparel teams across Tokyo, Shanghai, and Seoul and deepen our connection with our global consumers.

New Balance reported record 2025 global sales of $9.2 billion, up 19 per cent year on year, marking its fifth straight year of double-digit growth.
North America and Europe led gains, while apparel and owned retail each crossed $1 billion.
The brand expanded manufacturing, digital and distribution capabilities, deepened athlete partnerships, and donated $17.3 million to 95 nonprofits worldwide.

We strengthened our focus on delivering best-in-class consumer experiences with our global key accounts, independent specialty retailers, and our direct-to-consumer business.  With record setting results in nearly every region, our brand’s North American and European regions saw exceptional growth – achieving 20+% and 30+% YOY respectively. Both our global apparel business and owned retail surpassed $1 billion for the first time.

We continued record investments across our digital capabilities, brand campaigns, and commitment to domestic manufacturing. Last fall, we celebrated the opening of our expanded Central Maine MADE factory in Skowhegan and began piloting production at our new advanced manufacturing facility in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Our state-of-the-art distribution center opened in Salt Lake City, featuring cutting-edge technology that reflects our commitment to operational excellence and customer service.

The best athletes in the world wear New Balance, and we were there at the moments that mattered on the court, field, track and pitch with Josh Allen, Cooper Flagg, Coco Gauff, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Shohei Ohtani, Femke Bol, Alex Yee, and many others. We showcased our relentless focus on running through the Run Your Way brand campaign in Tokyo at the World Athletics Championships and delivered standout brand experiences at some of the world’s largest running events. We also proudly announced our long-term partnership extension with New York Road Runners and the TCS New York City Marathon.

Giving back to our communities through volunteerism and charitable programs where our associates live and work remains at the core of our purpose-driven culture. Since 1981, New Balance Foundation has been dedicated to creating positive change in our global communities, and in 2025 its efforts delivered meaningful impact globally with $17.3M gifted to more than 95 nonprofits in 12 countries.

As we look ahead, we will stay focused and true to who we are as we strengthen our brand, maximize our global opportunities and prioritize our unique One NB culture.
