Google’s new Pixel a-series model is launching later today and here are all the details we know so far.
The Pixel 10a launch is confirmed for February 18 and that is the date when the phone will go on pre-order across regions. It is likely to cost over Rs 50,000 in the market again.
Google Pixel 10a launch is today and the company is going to start pre-orders for the new phone across countries. The Pixel 10a is pegged to be an incremental upgrade on Pixel 9a and going by the leaked specs, it might actually be true.
Google decided to take matters into its own hands and not only share the official Pixel 10a teasers but also highlight the changes in its design with the visual of the Pixel 10a model that is rolling out this week.
Google Pixel 10a Launch: Where To Watch
The Pixel 10a is expected to sport a 6.3-inch OLED protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and available with support for Bluetooth 6 which is an upgrade of sorts. The Pixel 10a is also said to offer 45W wired charging speed which is a decent increase on the 23W charging support.
The company is tipped to be using the same Tensor G4 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The device is once again likely to come with a 48MP main sensor and 13MP ultrawide lens. It should get Android 16 out of the box, with support for Android 17 beta and available with 7 years of OS and security updates from the company.
The Pixel a-series model has been trying its best to stay relevant for the last few years but it mostly comes across as a Pixel lite device, and the 10a feels even less of an upgrade going by these leaked details.
The phone carries the same battery size but still manages to be lighter yet marginally thicker. The Pixel 10a details leaked by retailer WinFuture suggests the new model could be priced at EUR 499 (Rs 52,800 approx) for the base 8GB + 128GB model, going up to EUR 599 (Rs 64,300 approx) if you want the 256GB storage variant.
