iQOO 15 Ultra was announced for the China market and immediately people were eager to see if the brand decides to bring its premium device to other markets like India. It has all the latest hardware specs along with special focus on gamers with a built-in cooling fan to handle the heavy stress of gaming for long hours but also focus on the shutterbugs.

The iQOO 15 Ultra launch in other regions was seen as an unlikely situation because of how the company targets buyers outside of China. But could we see iQOO change its strategy for the new model?

iQOO 15 Ultra Launching In India?

So what does iQOO plan to do with its Ultra device? As hinted by tipster Yogesh Brar, the iQOO 15 Ultra launch in India is not expected and we are not entirely surprised by that news. iQOO primarily caters to the performance market and only recently launched its 15 series with price of over Rs 70,000. With the 15 Ultra, the company will be forced to go even higher, and that is not a segment which excites many brands, unless you are Apple or Samsung.

Having said that, the tipster suggests iQOO could launch another device (apart from the iQOO 15R) which could be a toned down version of the 15 Ultra in more than one way.

iQOO 15 Ultra features a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K screen resolution and 144Hz adaptive refresh rate support. The device is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset which iQOO claims has been further optimised to deliver the best gaming experience. The phone packs a 7,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless fast charging support.

All the materials and structure used for the cooling system on the iQOO 15 Ultra is sure to excite gamers who can rely on stable performance without feeling the strain of the power-hungry games. The phone is priced at CNY 5,699 (Rs 73,900) in China for the base 16GB + 256GB variant, which means iQOO will have to bring the device priced over Rs 85,000 in the Indian market.
