The services will include non-stop flights from Kolkata and Guwahati, while passengers travelling from Mumbai will have a single-aircraft journey with a brief stopover in Kolkata, without changing planes.
SpiceJet said the new routes are aimed at improving air connectivity to Manipur, which currently has limited options. The airline stated that the daily flights are expected to enhance accessibility for residents, students, medical travellers, government officials and businesses.
The airline also said the new services will allow passengers to access onward connections through its network to destinations across India and select international locations.
