The January 2026 Pixel update has been annoying.

Google issued a new update in January 2026 for the Pixel users and it seems to have disrupted their Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. A big number of Pixel users have complained about the issues ever since they installed the latest update from the company which also has a major security fix.

But while making the devices secure, the regular features have become a problem, with many informing about the annoyance with such bugs rolling out with a big update. All these users have shared their issues via Reddit and Google forums in the last few days.

Just Won’t Work

These Pixel users were installing the update to keep their devices safe but now they complain about Wi-Fi not connecting to the networks or Bluetooth not turning on whatsoever. This did not happen immediately but all these users have noticed the pattern of issues emerging, and Google has been made aware about them. The problem is not limited to the latest Pixel 10 series devices and some with the older Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 9 have also found these issues.

People seem to have tried every trick in the book to fix the issues. They have done the classic reboot and network reset options, while some have gone a step further and factory reset the device to see if it works, but sadly nothing has worked.

Google hasn’t said anything about the issues and if it is working on a fix for these problems but we sure hope to see something from the company soon.

Google Pixel 10a launch is around the corner and a new tip suggests the company could bring its mid-range device a lot earlier than last year. The Pixel 10a leaks have been reported over the last few months and now we are getting the Pixel 10a launch timeline which is not far away from now.

The Pixel a-series lineup is seeing less and less upgrades with each generation and the Pixel 9a showed us the value of buying the regular Pixel 9 model for a price tag that is narrower than we thought it would be. The Pixel 10 series has shown gradual premium improvements and another leak courtesy Onleaks has suggested the Pixel 10a will be more of the same from Google.
