Vivo V70 series launch was earlier tipped for January 2026 but we could see the brand announce the new models soon.
Vivo V70 series could get a new Elite variant this year
Vivo V70 series launch in India is expected in the next few months and now more details have emerged which talks about the models that you can expect with the new lineup. The V60 series brought design improvements, better cameras with Zeiss lenses and a sleek body with a large capacity battery.
The V70 series this year is likely to continue the same pattern, albeit with less hardware upgrades, or maybe a higher price tag for the devices owing to the memory shortage issue.
Vivo V70 Series Launch Soon: What We Might See
The report from SmartPrix suggests Vivo V70 series will have the regular model and a new Elite version. There will be a third option, an XE version that will be coming later. Vivo is tipped to focus on the cameras of the V70 models with improved Zeiss lenses powering better low light imaging and offering more details. Vivo is also likely to adopt its own AI-powered engine to make image details sharper.
The regular V70 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen chipset while the V70 Elite could use one of the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen SoCs or may be one-gen older. The company says it will be the most powered Qualcomm chip on a V-series model, so we are keen to see which one it will be.
The Vivo V70 series launch was planned for January 2026 as per earlier reports but the new tip suggests we could see the new V-series phones announced around mid-February in the country.
Before that, Vivo is teasing a new X200 series device called the X200T in the Indian market. The X200T design has also been teased on the platform with the Zeiss Optics branding also part of the equation. The device has been spotted in the country’s BIS certification website recently which means the launch could happen as early as this month.
Vivo X200T is unlikely to be a compact device like the OnePlus 13s which means you can expect a regular 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. This and more details have been pointed out in a leak.
It claims the ‘T’ model is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset with up to 12GB RAM. Vivo’s new OriginOS 6 version based on Android 16 should be the software running on its latest X-series device. We hope the brand offers multiple OS upgrades for the X200T model.
