Oppo is tipped to go for a premium design and focus on the cameras with the new Reno 15 models. Oppo Reno 15 India Launch: What To Expect
The Reno 15 Pro Mini is coming to the country to offer another compact phone in the market for buyers. It features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display and measures at 7.99mm thick and weighs 187 grams. The brand is using an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and focuses on offering good visibility outdoors. It is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series chipset.
Speaking of durability, the Reno 15 series will be offered with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings like most of the phones launched recently. Oppo could go with both MediaTek Dimensity and Snapdragon chipsets for the Reno 15 series, and even the Reno 15 Pro Mini. Leaks hint at the use of Dimensity 8450 for the Pro Mini and maybe 7 Gen 4 SoC for the regular Reno 15 model. All three phones will be offered the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 version.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav via a post on X has claimed to have got his hands on the retail box for the Reno 15 Pro Mini which has Rs 64,999 as the MRP for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and the tipster hints at the actual selling price to be around Rs 59,999 with some more bank discounts in play.
This will make the Reno 15 Pro Mini compete with other compact phones like the OnePlus 13s which does have the 2024 flagship chipset under the hood.
