Realme 16 Pro series has been teased to launch in India and now we also have the date when the new product is going to be announced in the country. We’ve already got a good look at the design of the Realme 16 Pro model with a unique finish and the start of 2026 is likely to be a hectic affair in the market once again.

Realme 16 Pro is tipped to feature a new portrait camera and likely to come with Android 16 version out of the box. We also expect the Realme 16 Pro models to get a sleek frame but with a silicon carbon grade battery.

Realme 16 Pro series is launching in India on January 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM IST. The company is likely to host a livestream for the Realme 16 Pro series launch via its official YouTube channel. Realme 16 Pro series should have the regular the Pro+ variant once again. 

Realme 16 Pro Series Launch In India: Price And What To Expect 

Realme 16 Pro most likely gets a textured panel along with a matte finish over glass which should give it the premium touch. The company is going to use a Snapdragon chipset which could be the 7 Gen 4 series. The camera layout seems to have been borrowed from the OnePlus 15, except the orientation has been changed by Realme for its device. 

The company is offering Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 with the 16 Pro that is promised to get 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches. The software will also have AI features integrated with the likes of AI Edit genie 2.0 to create and edit images. 

Realme 16 Pro price in India is rumoured to start from Rs 30,000 while the Pro+ could have a price tag of around Rs 35,000 in the market. 

The segment is also getting another strong product early next year in the form of Redmi Note 15 and it is launching in India soon. The new phone has been teased this week as Xiaomi looks to start 2026 with a big launch within the first week itself. The Redmi Note 15 series made its debut in China but we can expect Xiaomi to make some tweaks for the Indian model.
