Polar is the new brand looking to tempt people into fitness products
Polar is the new fitness company in the Indian market to launch its own version of a screenless fitness tracker called Polar Loop. We have seen Amazfit and Whoop bring their versions of this device and Polar is the latest name adding itself into the ring and giving buyers more options. Unlike other premium brands, Polar is unlocking all its features without having to pay additionally which means you buy the device and get all the services.
Polar Loop Price In India
Polar Loop is priced in India at Rs 19,999 and it comes in three different colours. The brand has additional straps for the Loop that you can buy for Rs 1,999.
Polar Loop: The Screenless Fitness Era
The focus of Loop is to deliver accurate fitness data so the lack of screen will enable its features and deliver it much longer. The strap is made of soft textile material and a sleek buckle which is claimed to be easy to wear. You pair it with your phone using Bluetooth LE and it charges using the standard USB C port.
The lack of a display allows Polar to offer more features. It can record your steps and other movements 24×7 and the internal storage can keep up to 4 weeks of data. You can even fill in details manually in the Polar Flow app and there is automatic detection for workouts also available.
The sleep tracker is also a core part of the device and it will help you get a better sleep schedule with improved active scores. The device weighs 29 grams which is lightweight on the wrist and the built-in 170mAh battery is claimed to run for up to 8 days on a single charge.
Polar has a couple of like-to-like rivals in the market. Amazfit Helio Strap is the cheaper of the two for under Rs 10,000 but Polar has one big advantage and that is linked to its overall health ecosystem without any subscription.
