Apple Fitness+ is finally coming to India and 27 other new markets, the company has confirmed this week. Apple introduced Fitness+ as a premium health and wellness service that caters to content around different exercises and fitness regime which you can stream on the big screen in your living room.
You even have the option of setting up customised fitness plans and follow your health journey within the ecosystem. Apple Fitness+ is a separate app that you can sign up for with a different plan and starting December 15, 2025 it will be available for Apple users in India and other regions like China, Singapore, Netherlands, Taiwan and more.
Apple Fitness+ Price In India
Apple Fitness+ in India is priced at Rs 149 per month or you can also pay Rs 999 for the whole year. The service can be shared with up to five other family members which makes it quite economical compared to other markets.
Apple Fitness+ works on iPhone 8 or later models that are running the iOS 16.1 or higher version. You can even use it with Apple Watch Series 3 or later versions.
Apple Fitness+ Features: What You Get?
So what does the premium fitness subscription offer that Apple is charging over Rs 100 per month from users? You can access 12 different workouts like yoga, Pilates, kickboxing and cycling among others. Apple has created content related to these exercises that you can stream on the iPad, iPhone or the Apple TV. You get detailed metrics like heart rate, calories burned, and the progress made via the Activity rings.
Apple also gives you the option of making customised plans which are based on your workout regime and other preferences, including the trainer and music. The company is heavily marketing the focus on fitness with the music catalogue it has curated for different workouts and exercises that you can explore within the new fitness service.
Apple launched the Fitness+ back in 2020 as a part of its virtual fitness strategy centered around the pandemic-induced market. But it is finally bringing the service to India and more regions on this side of the world.
