iOS 26.2 RC update is out which means the full release should be soon
iOS 26.2 release candidate update has rolled out this week which means the public version is not far away. The new iOS 26.2 version is available for beta testers as Apple looks to finetune the update before the full release comes through for all the eligible iPhone users.
We already know the whole feature list that the iOS 26.2 update will be offering when it releases later this month so Apple gives the go ahead for the RC update and that will be a compilation of everything that we have seen in the last few weeks.

The company is also said to be testing the option to use other third-party voice assistants than Siri on iPhones. This feature could be limited to Japan where the regulator has demanded strict changes to its policies of allowing other platforms to thrive.
Messages In CarPlay
You can actually disable the pinned messages features on iPhone from within the CarPlay settings. This might not sound like a big deal and giving more power to users in the car has its value.
Sleep Score Alterations
Apple has changed the score metrics for sleeping which many people thought was lenient. So instead of Excellent, the highest standard score for Sleep is now going to be very high which will be 95 or or points.
AirPods Live Translation In More Regions
Apple got live translation with AirPods Pro 3 earlier this year but users in EU regions could finally get their version in December once the iOS 26.2 update rolls out.
Besides these, the list has tweaks to the Liquid Glass transparency level, new look Apple News app and Measures app design.
We are hoping to see the iOS 26.2 update roll out in the next few weeks and Apple is likely to have them loaded with more features.
