The selectors have also added Rishabh Pant, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja and Tilak Varma to the squad that went Down Under last month. Ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah has been rested alongside his pace partner Mohammed Siraj.
For the South Africans, the absence of express quick Kagiso Rabada due to his injury will mean extra responsibility on the shoulders of young seamers Marco Jansen and Nandre Burger.
