OnePlus Nord 4 users in India are getting the stable Android 16 update which means the new OxygenOS 16 version is now making its way to the mid-range Nord lineup. We’ve already seen the new Android 16 update running out of the box with the OnePlus 15 flagship model and now the company is confident enough to bring the new version to more devices.

You will see some subtle changes with the UI on the Nord 4 as well as some AI-powered features. The lockscreen setup also gets some new changes that you customise further.

OxygenOS 16 For Nord 4: What Users Get

The OxygenOS 16 update for Nord 4 is rolling out in phases so everyone might not get it right away. The build number has been mentioned in the post so you will get to know when the Android 16 version is available for your device.

The changelog for OxygenOS 16 on Nord 4 gives the details about the features that the users will be getting with the new update.

The new theme set is quickly visible when you install the new version. The fresh design UI means the corners are rounded and you have a Liquid Glass-like interface. You can also see the Quick settings with subtle changes, as well as the home screen.

The list of AI features on the Nord is limited but you get it working in Photos for video editing, tweak the light settings in a portrait image, and AI-based writing tools. More importantly, the new update makes the interface fluid and smoother which relies on the lightweight nature of the software. The app launch speeds are also likely to see a boost and you can expect improved efficiency in other aspects.

OnePlus has been quick with the Android 16 update this year and the fact that Nord 4 is getting the stable release in November tells you the importance of keeping the users happy. Yes, the company has issues related to the green line display but it has mostly handled it by offering free screen replacements for most of its models.
