Smriti Mandhana celebrates her wedding with Palash Muchhal in Sangli and Indore, joined by Indian teammates after her ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 win.

Ace India batter Smriti Mandhana has invited several of her Indian teammates for the set of ceremonies part of the grand celebrations for her wedding with famous music composer Palash Muchhal on November 23.
On Friday, November 21, Smriti’s family hosted a special Haldi ceremony, where her teammates and friends from the Indian team graced the occasion.
A series of online pictures and videos from the Haldi event have caught the fans’ attention, where a delighted Mandhana was unable to hold back her happiness and excitement. Equally happy were her teammates, including Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Amanjot Kaur, Radha Yadav and Arundhati Reddy, who were all seen dancing in absolutely joyful scenes from the ceremony in a viral clip.

These cricketers, also featuring Mandhana’s Women’s Premier League teammate with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Shreyanka Patil, shook their legs on the beats of the Punjabi dhol alongside Mandhana and her family members.
A day earlier as well, Rodrigues, Reddy, Patil and Yadav joined Mandhana in a viral Instagram video, where they danced and shared the excitement for her upcoming wedding ceremony.
Mandhana, who has been in a relationship with Palash since 2019, made her connection with the popular personality public back in 2024. The rumours of the two ringing the wedding bells had been rife for a while.
Now Mandhana and Palash will be officially tying the knot on Sunday, November 23, with celebrations expected across Sangli and Indore. Sangli, which is Mandhana’s hometown, is expected to witness an influx of guests during the wedding.
The wedding with Palash will cap off one of the happiest seasons of Mandhana’s professional and personal life, as she recently became a world champion for the first time by winning the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 crown.
The graceful left-hander played an instrumental role at the top in her team’s biggest and most influential success at the world stage.
She amassed 434 runs in nine innings of the competition at an average of 54.25 with a strike-rate of 99.09. Her tally featured a brilliant century in a must-win encounter against New Zealand, taking India to the knockouts, where Harmanpreet Kaur’s team defeated Australia and South Africa to rewrite history.
