Realme GT 8 Pro is the new Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship phone in the market and its first with a Ricoh-tuned camera.

Realme GT 8 Pro is also here in the Indian market this month, making it the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship phone to launch in the country. Realme GT 8 Pro has other firsts on its sleeves, which includes the new Ricoh partnership for the GR camera system.
Realme is using the camera deal much akin to Xiaomi’s Leica partnership and Vivo working with Zeiss Optics over the last few years. Realme is bringing the GT 8 Pro in two variants to the country and you also get a unique camera system at the back.
Realme GT 8 Pro Price In India And Variants
Realme GT 8 Pro price in India starts at Rs 72,999 which is for the base 12GB + 256GB variant, going up to Rs 78,999 for the higher 16GB + 512GB model. Realme also has launched the GT 8 Pro Dream Edition in the country which has a sticker price of Rs 79,999 for the single 16GB + 512GB version. Realme will start selling the GT 8 Pro in the country from November 25 but the Dream Edition will have a limited sale window.
Realme GT 8 Pro Specifications
Realme GT 8 Pro is the latest phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset which sits along with the OnePlus 15 and the soon to launch iQOO 15 in the country. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Realme UI 7.0 version based on Android 16 is available out of the box, and Realme says the phone will get 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
The GT 8 Pro sports a typical 6.79-inch AMOLED flat display with QHD+ resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. The main highlight of the GT 8 Pro is the unique back design and its camera system. Realme is using Ricoh’s assistance for tuning its camera on the flagship device. You have a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 120x digital zoom support.
The phone packs a 7,000mAh battery and it comes with an 8.20mm frame and weighs 214 grams. These have become the standard specs of high-end phones with the help of the silicon carbon battery. It supports 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging speeds.
