Extensive preparations are underway in the temple town, with senior government officials and members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust overseeing arrangements on site. The Prime Minister’s Office and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office are monitoring developments in real time to ensure a flawless event.
The ceremony will be broadcast live across leading television channels and online platforms. To enable wider public participation, a 200 feet LED screen will be installed at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, while more than 30 large screens will be placed throughout Ayodhya for devotees to view the proceedings.

The city is being transformed for the celebration, with saffron flags, floral garlands, and elaborate lighting displays brightening streets and landmarks. The Tourism and Culture Department has planned a series of cultural events from November 21 to 25, 2025, including Ram Katha recitations, devotional music, classical dance, and folk performances by acclaimed artists.
Meanwhile, the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has launched an extensive beautification campaign — resurfacing roads, repainting ghats, and planting trees to give the city a festive feel.
Temple Trust Secretary Champat Rai, in a video message said: “1,600 rooms have been arranged for invited guests attending the flag-hoisting ceremony on Vivah Panchami day (November 25) at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.” He added that extra accommodation has been arranged at Karsevakpuram, Ramsevakpuram and Teerth Kshetra Puram, complete with bedding and blankets to accommodate the winter chill.

According to the Trust, entry for the ceremony will open at 8 am and close at 9 am. Alongside the Prime Minister, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are expected to attend the event, which will conclude by 2 pm, followed by a darshan session for high profile guests. Officials confirmed that regular darshan will not be available on November 25.
The saffron flag measuring 22 feet by 11 feet has been specially designed and crafted from durable parachute fabric and silk threads. It will be raised on a 42 feet pole atop the 161-foot spire using a 360-degree rotating mechanism, PTI reported. The triangular banner features sacred symbols including the Sun, ‘Om’, and the Kovidar tree.
Rai noted that, owing to the ongoing temple construction and limited space within the complex, attendance has been kept restricted. “Priority has been given to guests from eastern Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
