GTA 6 launch has been further delayed by the developer but it seems gamers can enjoy the prequel for free very soon.
GTA 6 release is late but enjoy the GTA 5 for free
Rockstar Games confirmed that the GTA 6 release date has been pushed to November 2026 so we have more than one year left for the big launch. However, the developer could soften the blow by letting you play GTA 5 on PC for free.
Sony could be giving the good news very soon as the PS Plus subscribers in November 2025 could have the popular title available free of cost with their plan. The company has not given the official nod for the rollout just yet but the internet is buzzing about the news and many are excited.
GTA 5 On PC For Free: Better Now?
Rockstar Games says the additional time to release GTA 6 will allow them to improve the graphics and overall quality of the game. So in the meanwhile, how about enjoying and reliving the GTA 5 experience on the PC? A tipster named Billbil Kun claims Sony PS Plus’ free game lineup this month will have GTA 5 for free. He even points out that the game will be available on November 18, 2025 which is less than a week from now.
The PS Plus subscription comes in both monthly and yearly options. The PS Plus Extra monthly plan costs Rs 749 in India, while the Deluxe version of PS Plus comes for Rs 849 per month.
The news comes at a time when Xbox has launched the Cloud Gaming service in India. Xbox cloud gaming lets you enjoy some of the popular Xbox game titles just with the help of high-speed internet, and a subscription to access all these games which makes it cheaper than buying an all new Xbox console.
The best thing about Xbox Cloud Gaming is that you can play the console games on phone, PCs or even the big screen TV in your living room. Everything is based on the cloud which just needs you to pay for the Xbox Game Pass subscription as well as invest in the Xbox controllers.
