LPG Gas Cylinder Price Update Today, November 1: The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 4.5 to Rs 6.5 from November 1, according to a notification by the oil marketing companies. However, the rate for the 14.2-kg domestic cylinder remains the same.

Commercial LPG Price In Delhi: From November 1, 2025, the price of a 19-kg LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 5 to Rs 1,590.5, against Rs 1,595.5 per cylinder earlier.
Commercial LPG Price In Kolkata: From November 1, the price of a 19-kg LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 6.5 to Rs 1,694, against Rs 1,700.5 per cylinder in October.
Commercial LPG Price In Mumbai: From November 1, the price of a 19-kg LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 5 to Rs 1,542, against Rs 1,547 per cylinder earlier.
Commercial LPG Price In Chennai: From November 1, the price of a 19-kg LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 4.5 to Rs 1,750, against Rs 1,754.5 per cylinder earlier.
The LPG price cut in November comes after a price hike in October. Last month, the price of the 19-kg cylinder was increased by Rs 15.5 each in Deli and Mumbai, while the rate was hiked by Rs 16.5 each in Chennai and Kolkata.
14.2-kg Domestic LPG Cylinder Price In India
The price of the domestic cylinder remains the same in November 2025. It is important to note that the rate has remained unchanged since April 2025.
Domestic LPG Price In Delhi: The price of a 14.5-kg LPG gas cylinder in Delhi remains at Rs 853.
Domestic LPG Price In Mumbai: The price of a 14.5-kg LPG gas cylinder in Mumbai remains at Rs 852.50.
Domestic LPG Price In Kolkata: The price of a 14.5-kg LPG gas cylinder in Kolkata remains at Rs 879.
Domestic LPG Price In Chennai: The price of a 14.5-kg LPG gas cylinder in Chennai remains at Rs 868.50.
How To Apply For New LPG Cylinder Connection & What Are The Documents Needed?
A new LPG cylinder connection can be obtained either online or by visiting the nearest LPG distributor of companies such as Indane, Bharat Gas or HP Gas. Applicants are required to fill a registration form with basic personal details, select a distributor in their locality and submit Know Your Customer (KYC) documents. Once the application is verified, the distributor issues the connection and schedules delivery of the cylinder, regulator, hose and consumer book. For online applications, consumers can register through the respective company websites or the SAHAJ (e-SV) portal, upload documents and complete the payment digitally.
The documents required for a new gas connection include a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID or driving licence, and an address proof like electricity bill, telephone bill, rental agreement, ration card or residence certificate. Passport-size photographs may also be required.
In case of tenants, a rent agreement or a no-objection letter from the landlord may be asked for. Applicants must pay a refundable security deposit for the cylinder and regulator, along with charges for the first gas refill and accessories, as applicable.
