Pixel 10a design leak suggests Google will continue to play safe in 2026 and this time the hardware details are barely going to change
Pixel 10a launch is not expected until March 2026
Google’s Pixel 10 series was introduced in August and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold went on sale earlier this month. So now the focus shifts to the mid-range Pixel 10a model that, going by leaks, might be an incremental update at best.
The Pixel a-series lineup is seeing less and less upgrades with each generation and the Pixel 9a showed us the value of buying the regular Pixel 9 model for a price tag that is narrower than we thought it would be. The Pixel 10 series has shown gradual premium improvements and the new leak courtesy Onleaks suggests the Pixel 10a will be more of the same from Google.
Pixel 10a Design Leak: What You Can Expect
The leaked render of the Pixel 10a comes via reliable tipster Onleaks this week and the design of the mid-range Pixel phone looks fairly believable. The bad news is that the Pixel 10a could hardly be seen as an upgrade on the 9a and more of a like-to-like successor.
You can see the same dual camera module with a flat panel but with thinner bezels than the Pixel 9a. The 10a version is expected to sport the same 6.2-inch OLED display but we hope Google can at least make the panel brighter than its predecessor next year.
The report even mentions that Pixel 10a could be using the Tensor G4 chipset instead of the new G5 version which is ideally done to keep the launch price manageable for the company.
The colour options for the Pixel 10a could once again be limited to the usual culprits black and white but we do hope this blue variant does come officially from the brand. Will the cameras be improved? That also seems like a far fetched hope but won’t mind if Google does surprise us with some changes.
Having said that, with barely any upgrade to highlight it would be hard to see Google price the Pixel 10a more than the 9a model which was launched for $449 (Rs 43,900 approx) for the sole 128GB variant, and upwards of Rs 54,000 in the Indian market. We expect the Pixel 10a to be introduced around March next year.
