Kotak Mahindra Bank Q2FY26 net profit fell 2.7 percent to Rs 3,253 crore, but NII, deposits, advances, and AUM saw YoY growth.

Kotak Mahindra Bank Q2 Results: Kotak Mahindra Bank on Saturday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 3,253 crore for the July–September quarter (Q2FY26), marking a 2.7 percent decline from Rs 3,344 crore in the same period last year.
The bank’s Net Interest Income (NII) rose 4 percent year-on-year to Rs 7,311 crore from Rs 7,020 crore in Q2FY25. Net Interest Margin (NIM) for the quarter stood at 4.54 percent, while the cost of funds came in at 4.70 percent.
Net advances grew 16 percent YoY to Rs 4.63 lakh crore as of September 30, 2025, compared to Rs 3.99 lakh crore a year earlier. Asset quality improved, with Gross NPA at 1.39 percent and Net NPA at 0.32 percent, against 1.49 percent and 0.43 percent, respectively, in the previous year. The Provision Coverage Ratio stood at 77 percent.
Average total deposits increased 14 percent YoY to Rs 5.11 lakh crore during Q2FY26 from Rs 4.46 lakh crore in Q2FY25. Average current deposits also climbed 14 percent YoY to Rs 70,220 crore from Rs 61,853 crore.
As of September 30, 2025, Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) stood at 1.39% and Net NPA at 0.32%, improving from 1.49% and 0.43%, respectively, in Q2FY25.
The bank’s total Assets Under Management (AUM) rose 12% year-on-year to Rs 7,60,598 crore as of September 30, 2025, up from Rs 6,80,838 crore a year ago. Domestic mutual fund equity AUM grew 14% YoY to Rs 3,62,694 crore during the same period.
