The OnePlus 15 will be a major upgrade from the 13 series, not only with its design but some serious hardware improvements also tipped. Now, the company has teased the OnePlus 15 battery and charging specs that will have people further excited for the upcoming flagship device.

OnePlus 15 will be making its debut in China later this month with the India launch widely expected before the end of 2025. All these new details and the launch of OxygenOS 16 version confirms those rumours.

OnePlus 15 Battery And Charging Details Revealed: Know More

OnePlus has shared the new details via a post on Weibo in China this week which confirms the mammoth battery size packed into the device. The OnePlus 15 is going to get a 7,300mAh battery which is a big upgrade on the 6,000mAh unit that came with the OnePlus 13 version last year. That’s not all, the new flagship device will get 120W fast charging in the wired mode and the same 50W wireless speed.

OnePlus 15 will be one of the many phones to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset in the next few weeks. It will get the ColorOS 16 version in China while the OnePlus 15 India variant will launch with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 version.

The new OxygenOS 16 teasers and launch show a lot of changes in the UI, features and a lot more AI baked into the device. OnePlus is also pitching the 15 as a gaming device but we hope to see more of an all-round value.

The OnePlus 15 is going to feature a flat design like the recently launched 13s model with a flat display that carries thin bezels for better overall look. You also get a 165Hz refresh rate AMOLED display on the new model.

OnePlus 15 will be the first to come without the Hasselblad camera branding and feature its own imaging engine that shows some exciting promise. We expect to see a 50MP triple camera system.
