Vivo is bringing OriginOS 6 update to India with the X-series premium phones but the mid-range V and Y-series budget models as well.

Vivo X200 FE and other host of phones will be upgraded to OriginOS 6 in India
Vivo is bringing the OriginOS 6 version to India and other regions and most people are eager to see how the new Android 16 update sans Funtouch performs and offers to the users. OriginOS has been reserved for China and the company has tried its best to make the other interface as fluid and responsive. The premium range of Vivo devices have demanded a major overhaul and with OriginOS 6 the signs are that the company has something substantial in play.
Vivo claims besides the visual changes you will notice improved stability with the new OS, the battery life seems to have been optimised and you get a new set of AI features baked into the platform.
We have got a close look at the new OriginOS 6 version with official teasers and there are a lot of similarities with the Chinese firmware which is not a bad thing. The main difference is that you do get the Android suite pre-loaded into the global variants that will be available with the new phones as well as the older models.

The list is fairly comprehensive and shows you how Vivo is committed to bringing OriginOS 6 version for most of its users. Like every other new software version coming out, Vivo is bringing a host of AI features. You can now erase objects from Live Photos through the photo gallery. You also have an AI-powered memory hub to keep notes, organise them, something that OnePlus and Nothing offer with Mind Space and Essential Space, respectively.
We will also see the OriginOS 6 close up with the Vivo X300 series launching in India before the end of 2025 and also the iQOO 15 flagship device which is coming in November.
