Nothing Phone 3 was selling for Rs 26,000 with offers but most people didn’t get it

Nothing Phone 3 was launched in India at Rs 79,999 back in July this year, and since then the flagship model has got multiple price cuts that have made it extremely appealing to buyers. Recently, Flipkart had the Phone 3 listed for around Rs 26,000 (after offers) which got people’s attention who decided to pull the trigger and buy at the special price.

However, the online seller seems to have realised that giving the Phone 3 at under Rs 30,000 would be unfair to those who bought it at the full price, so Flipkart decided to cancel all the orders that were placed in the last few days, and inform them about the decision via their online account.

We have been tracking the issue with Flipkart’s Phone 3 deal and many have lashed out at the platform for selling and then not giving them the device for the deal price. 

Flipkart Does It Again: Why The Phone 3 Orders Were Cancelled? 

We couldn’t independently verify the Phone 3 deal on Flipkart but many users have shared the visuals which tells us where the issue was. Some of the buyers were informed about the order cancellation on their account. The message was, “Sorry, your order was cancelled as the price of the product was incorrectly listed by the seller.” 

So, Flipkart is basically putting the blame on the seller, which is true in this case, and pointing out that the Phone 3 special price offer was a mistake in the first place. To be fair, people who were able to order the device using the Flipkart Minutes service did get the unit but majority of them did not. 

We get that Flipkart is a marketplace hosting sellers who can put their own prices, but this new issue seems to be a mix of both the parties, and the buyer is the one getting the raw end of this deal. These buyers are getting the full refund (almost), but they don’t get to own the Phone 3 for under Rs 28,000 which is what they wanted. 

The earlier Phone 3 offer was clubbed with the Phone 1 or 2 user, who could get a special deal which allowed them to buy the new Nothing flagship for under Rs 40,000. That one was official but weeks later, the Phone 3 was available for a similar price without any exchange deal in play.
