Samsung’s One UI 8 update is finally headed to non-flagship devices as more mid-range phones that were promised the Android 16 version are getting it this week. The company made a refreshing change with its software strategy and since then we have seen the One UI 7 delayed but the earlier than expected One UI 8 rolled out this year.
Now, if you have some of the Galaxy A or M-series phones launched in recent times, the Android 16 update is on its way for your device.
One UI 8 Update Reaches More Users: All Details
Samsung’s new One UI 8 update rollout includes a wide range of Galaxy devices:
- Galaxy A33
- Galaxy A53
- Galaxy M34
- Galaxy M35
- Galaxy Wide 7
- Galaxy Quantum 3
Most of these devices are getting the One UI 8 version for users in South Korea. There are some of these Galaxy devices that are only available in its home region but others like the M34 and M35 along with A53 have sold in the Indian market, where the One UI 8 firmware update should be available soon.
We have already seen the Android 16 update come for Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Flip 5 series and the Galaxy S23 models.
One UI 8 Update: How To Install?
Galaxy users can follow these steps to install the One UI 8 stable update on their device:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to Software update
- Check for the new update
- Install and reboot the phone
- One UI 8 stable is now running on your phone
Besides these, the Galaxy S22 models have got their last One UI update in Europe, as mentioned by tipster Tarun Vats recently.
While it is good news to see the older Galaxy S22 models get the latest Android 16 update so soon, this will be the last Android version that these users will get, going by the officially promised update cycle.
