Realme GT 8 Pro launch could be an exciting start for this tie up

Realme has partnered with Ricoh for its phone cameras and the GT 8 Pro will be the first model to see some of its work come to fruition. The company is the latest to have a deal like this, and we have seen it work for Vivo with Zeiss Optics, Xiaomi with Leica and Oppo with Hasselblad among the recent ones.

Realme will be hoping to use Ricoh’s expertise and the new GT 8 Pro model will be adopting the technology offered by Ricoh on its GT series cameras.

Realme GT 8 Pro Ricoh Camera Setup: What To Expect?

Realme GT 8 Pro will be getting a new camera setup that will do its best to use the Ricoh GR series as the blueprint. The company claims the new lenses will offer anti-glare performance, sharper images and minimal distortion. This hints at a powerful telephoto lens along with better low light imaging prowess. Realme will pack the GT 8 Pro with the Ricoh GR camera mode that is primed for 28mm wide street and 40mm closeup shots.

That’s not all, the GT 8 Pro model will be offered some of the tones that you have seen with Ricoh cameras. These are standard, positive film, negative, monotone and high-contrast B&W. These will be available pre-and-post shooting the images using the phone’s camera.

Realme GT 8 Pro Launch Soon: Features And Specs Expected

Realme GT 8 Pro will be getting a new Ricoh GR camera system but there are other features that give it the flagship-grade badge. It will be one of the phones to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, will get a 144Hz OLED display and feature a 200MP Samsung telephoto lens.

Realme has used the latest hardware on its premium GT series but the cameras have lacked that quality which we are hoping a partnership with Ricoh can gradually get better. The brand is promising better street photography experience which hints at upgraded telephoto lenses that can capture clear and crisp portraits.
