Apple has some more products making its way in October 2025 which could mark the end of its lineup for the year and one of them could be the new iPad Pro model with the M5 chipset. The company has set a pattern with its post-iPhone launches in the last few years, and decided that October needs its own share of new products in the market.
The MacBooks somewhere fit into that scheme but this year the rumours mostly hint at iPads launching along with a slew of smart home devices or even trackers. With the iPad Pro M5 launch expected this month, the new leaks give us more clarity about the new device and how the M5 performs.
iPad Pro M5 Specs Leaked: What We Can Expect
The first signs of the iPad Pro M5 launching soon was made evident by a Russian YouTuber who claimed to have unboxed the unreleased model. But now, more hints have been spotted on the internet, this time the iPad Pro M5 has been benchmarked to reveal more details.
The biggest change with the new M5 chipset could be performance boost, and also a big RAM upgrade for the new model. The benchmark site claims the iPad Pro M5 carries a 12GB RAM which is higher than the 8GB unit on the M4 Pro version but also warranted to support Apple AI features.
We don’t expect the latest iPad Pro model to get major design changes since the 2024 version was one of the biggest upgrades on that front, with its anti-reflective display.
As for the M5 benchmark performance, the leaked results show a marginal improvement on the M4 iPad Pro hardware which was also expected since the M5 Pro and M5 Ultra will be the ones that will get significant gains when they launch with the new MacBook Pro/Air models early next year.
The video with the unreleased iPad Pro M5 model from YouTuber Wylsacom has the box with the M5 chip mentioned but the design looks eerily similar to the iPad Pro M4 variant launched in 2024. You can also see the 13-inch display of the iPad Pro and the 256GB variant unboxed by the YouTuber.
He shows the iPad Pro M5 in black colour and somehow he got the new 45W adapter to charge the device as well. You can even see the iPad Pro running the new iPadOS 26 version and carrying a battery that seems to have been manufactured in August 2025.
