Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed has created a big controversy by saying that he wants to do boxing with former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan. Abrar, who represented Pakistan in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2025 as well as in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 earlier this year, during a recent interaction on a Pakistani YouTube channel, was asked which cricketer he would like to do boxing with, and in reply, he mentioned Dhawan’s name.

Konsa aisa player hai duniya ka jo aap chahate hai ki apke saamne ho aur aap boxing karey, jispe bada gussa aata ho?” The interviewer asked Abrar, and in reply he said, “Mai chahta hu ki mai boxing karu aur khada Shikhar Dhawan ho saamne.”

Here’s a look:

The former left-handed Indian batter made a lot of headlines in the first half of 2025. First for his war of words with former Pakistani captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi and then for refusing to play the World Championship of Legends match against the Pakistani team, which included the likes of Afridi in it.
