Vivo V60e India Launch Soon: Details Revealed
The new Vivo V60 series phone will have a familiar design with its vertical camera setup that houses a 200MP main sensor for portrait shots along with a 50MP front shooter for wide angle selfies. The cameras do seem like the highlight of the new model along with a large 6,500mAh battery packed into a sleek frame. The device also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings which gives it better durability against water and dust.
It is expected to sport a quad-curved AMOLED display and comes with Android 15-based Funtouch OS out of the box with the promise of 3 OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates. The large battery gets 90W wired fast charging support.
The Vivo V60e will be launching in purple and gold colourways. And yes, there are AI features built into the phone, courtesy Gemini and other in-house AI tools from Vivo like AI captions, AI image expander and more.
The company has announced its OriginOS 6 preview program for select Vivo and iQOO devices in the country. The OriginOS 6 preview program has started from September 29, 2025 and the company is starting it with the Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 smartphone users in the first phase.
This news also suggests Vivo and iQOO will be offering the OriginOS 6 update for older devices, and hopefully the mid-range models as well. The new X300 series phones will be getting the OriginOS 6 version out of the box and we are hoping to see a premium UI experience on these devices.
