If September was mostly about Apple launching its new iPhone 17 series, you haven’t even seen what October has lined up and some of the popular brands are staking their claim. All this happens after Qualcomm introduced its latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset that is now confirmed to be powered by some of the top-end devices launching in the next few weeks globally.

The OnePlus 15 is expected to debut in China next month and gradually make its way to India by early next year. OnePlus 15 is getting a major redesign, which includes the new square camera module at the back. It will be using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and featuring its in-house camera system. We also expect the new model to pack a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging supported.

Oppo Find X9 series will be launching on October 16 in China. The brand is going for the Dimensity 9500 chipset which is likely to be equally powerful as its rival. The design teasers for the Find X9 looks similar to the OnePlus flagship device but that could be because of their shared design and research teams. The Find X9 is rumoured to feature a quad-rear camera setup with the Hasselblad branding now exclusive to Oppo devices. Oppo has confirmed the Find X9 series will be coming to other regions and India is heavily tipped to be on the list.

Vivo X300 series is launching on October 13 in China. Both the models will feature a primary 200MP main sensor and the X300 Pro version is expected to have a 200MP telephoto lens with 85mm range and better certification for handling stabilisation. Unlike the X200, the new series could feature a flat design. The brand could use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset to power the devices. Vivo is bringing the OriginOS 6 version to the X300 series in India as well for the first time.

iQOO is also one of the first brands to confirm its plans to launch the iQOO 15 flagship model (not 14 again) in the next few months. The brand has made a habit of bringing the new hardware with its products quite early and it is in line to do it again.

Realme GT 8 Pro is also confirmed to launch in October but we don’t have the exact date for the new device to be unveiled. This could be another flagship phone toting a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with other advanced features. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and some reports say Realme could pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with the Pro version.

Will it finally be the time for Samsung to unveil its first tri-fold device? There have been multiple delays but the Galaxy G Fold model is likely to be announced in October. Earlier details from South Korea suggest the Samsung tri-fold price could be around $3,000 (Rs 2.56 lakh approx) which takes it into the Apple Vision Pro territory.
