India Vs West Indies 2025 Squad Announcement Live Updates: The Indian men’s cricket team’s home season gets underway with a two-match Test series against West Indies.
This will be the Shubman Gill-led squad’s second series of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship cycle. The squad will be picked soon, with the selection meeting to be held online since Ajit Agarkar, the chairman of sectors, is currently in the UAE for the Asia Cup 2025.
“The selection for the Indian Test team for the upcoming Test series against West Indies will be done on September 23 or 24… the selection meeting will be held online,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said on Sunday.
The series, which gets underway from October 2, will be Gill’s first as Test captain in India.
The West Indies squad will reportedly land in India on September 24 in Ahmedabad, where the first Test will be played. The second Test will be played in New Delhi from October 10.
