iOS 26 has released for iPhone users on Monday and the new version brings Liquid Glass design, new features and faster app launches.

iOS 26 update is finally here for iPhone users in India and other regions.
iOS 26 update has rolled out on Monday and as schedules go Apple has managed to offer the new version for a wide range of iPhone models across the globe. The iOS 26 version is a big naming switch from iOS 18 that powered the iPhone 16 series last year.
We have been getting the iOS 26 developer and public beta versions in the last few weeks and with the new iPhone 17 ready to be shipped later this week, Apple is bringing the new update that should be available on the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air from day one.
iOS 26 Rolled Out In India: How To Install
- Go to Settings
- Tap on General
- Click on Software update
- Check for the new iOS 26 version
- Authenticate using passcode and install
- Reboot the iPhone to get the new update

All these iPhones get the new update, along with the new iPhone 17 series that will come pre-installed. But if you want the latest Apple AI features, you will need to have the iPhone 15 Pro or newer models.
As we have mentioned before, the new iOS 26 update gets the Liquid Glass design which has become a lot better in the last few beta versions. The new interface brings glass-like intuitive swipe and scrolling across apps and different tabs.
The apps also get the glass-like effect with the text more pronounced. In terms of the features, iOS 26 brings a new adaptive battery saving tool which uses AI to read your usage. The apps now launch faster, while the camera gets new tweaks.
