OpenAI will soon take on job search portals with its own AI-powered system that looks to help companies, employees and even the government.

OpenAI is working on an AI-powered jobs search tool
OpenAI wants to help you find jobs, not because AI is taking them away but the technology will aid your cause and help you earn better. The AI giant is already building the platform that will rival LinkedIn and even the Job search option on Elon Musk’s X app.
The hiring version of OpenAI doesn’t have a name yet, and it is expected to be introduced sometime next year. But the company wants to go beyond the traditional jobs portal and enable the government to source skilled AI workforce for their own entities.
OpenAI Jobs Portal With AI: What It Could Offer
OpenAI tends to build products that try to make the best of AI and the jobs search platform is likely to follow the same model. The company wants to help people get better with AI tools and eventually enable them to connect as well as work at companies who need the AI skills.
And that’s the formula it plans to use for the AI-powered jobs platform that helps you find the right match in terms of the skills and the company profile. This AI matching system will be the backbone for the company’s ambition to have a jobs ecosystem that even includes the education part with some AI courses with certifications on offer.
OpenAI has started something similar in India recently, where it has also set up its first office base. The company has introduced its first ChatGPT Go plan, made for India as a pilot service and likely to be extended to other regions later.
The Go tier costs Rs 399 per month and offers access to the latest GPT 5 model, increased limit for file uploads, faster image generation and even works for the deep research element of the AI chatbot. LinkedIn is the obvious target for these features that look to keep the users engaged and allow OpenAI to increase its user base, app spend time and more.
Most analysts are not sure how these AI-powered tools will engage in job search but we are eager to see how OpenAI designs its version and delivers the results.
