OpenAI has launched the new ChatGPT Go plan in India, its most-affordable premium subscription offering till date. OpenAI is offering ChatGPT Go with support for UPI payments, making it easy for millions of smartphone users to try out the new GPT 5 AI model and other premium features on their devices.
The new ChatGPT option is priced at Rs 399 per month, making it far cheaper than the ChatGPT Plus plan which comes for Rs 1,999 per month. OpenAI lets you pay using UPI or cards for the service.

Open ChatGPT on web or mobile, login with your email ID, click on the Upgrade to Go banner, go to Try Go, make UPI payment for ChatGPT plan, start using ChatGPT Go on your account.
OpenAI says legacy models like ChatGPT 4o are not included with ChatGPT Go, and you cannot access Sora AI video generation tool or the Codex agent feature.
The good news is that ChatGPT Go is available on both web and mobile app for users in India.
