Samsung continues with the One UI 8 beta program and there are new devices getting the Android 16-based version in September. The company has offered the Android 16 version for its 2024 flagship models and the Z Foldables in August and now it is heading to mid-range and older Samsung flagship phones this week.

The cycle for the One UI 8 update quickly rolls on to the next Galaxy devices who can try out the new version before it is publicly rolled out for select devices in the near future.

Google was upstaged by Samsung in July when the Android 16 update was officially introduced with the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE models.
