iPhone 17 Pro launch is widely awaited, not only because of the price tag but its new design, camera upgrades and more.
iPhone 17 launch date is early next week and the countdown has well and truly kicked in for millions of fan boys. Apple tempts people into buying the new models with focus on new features and we saw that happen with the iPhone 16 last year, which had the AI promise which never came out.
The iPhone 17 Pro design could be more durable than its predecessors as Apple is tipped to use aluminium instead of titanium for the chassis. The back of the iPhone 17 Pro series could see a mix of aluminium and glass material finish which could add style and substance to the models.
Apple will be offering the new A19 Pro-level chipset with 12GB RAM for the iPhone 17 Pro series. TSMC will be using the 3nm process to manufacture the new chip which should offer a decent performance level with the memory upgrade.
Apple is tipped to bring a 48MP telephoto lens, along with two more 48MP sensors that offer wide and ultra-wide angle versatility. We could also see variable aperture come to the 17 Pro family.
iPhone 17 Pro could finally give us a selfie shooter worth its weight. The new 24MP camera is expected to be offered on the Pro series only, which could open new avenues like dual-cam recording for Apple.
The iPhone 17 Air might see a change but the 17 Pro series will not compromise on the battery pack even if it makes the device heavier. This also means Apple is unlikely to use the silicon carbon tech just yet.
