India pacer Mohammed Siraj has revealed the two factors he values the most when he steps onto the cricket field: comfort and focus. Known for his fiery spells with the new ball and his ability to swing the ball both ways, Siraj has steadily carved out a place for himself in India’s pace attack. But behind the aggression and energy lies a simple mantra that guides his game.
Mohammed Siraj has added a new milestone to his career by joining Skechers as its latest cricket ambassador. The Hyderabad-born pacer, who represents Gujarat Titans in the IPL and the Indian national team, will now compete wearing Skechers’ performance cricket footwear and feature in the brand’s upcoming campaigns.
“For me, comfort and focus are everything when I’m on the field. Skechers gives me that confidence, whether I’m bowling my heart out or running in for that crucial spell. Their technology and belief in athletes make them a brand I truly connect with,” he said.
Skechers, which entered the cricket footwear market in 2023, has been steadily building its presence in the sport. With Siraj’s signing, the brand adds another big name to its roster that already includes Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan and Yastika Bhatia.
Rahul Vira, CEO of Skechers South Asia, said the partnership reflects the brand’s focus on athletes who embody resilience and performance. “Mohammed Siraj represents relentless spirit and raw talent. His recent performances, especially against England, have made the country proud. He is exactly the kind of athlete who mirrors Skechers’ ethos of comfort, power and passion,” he said.
The 30-year-old pacer has enjoyed a stellar run in recent years — rising to the No.1 spot in the ICC ODI bowling rankings in 2023, leading India’s attack in overseas Tests, and most recently claiming 23 wickets in the 2025 India–England Test series, including a five-wicket haul at The Oval. His aggressive spells and ability to swing the ball at pace have made him a key figure in India’s bowling unit.
As part of the tie-up, Siraj will wear Skechers’ performance cricket footwear, including the Skechers Cricket Elite (11-spike) and Skechers Cricket Blade (7-spike), designed for traction, agility and explosive bowling performance.
