No matter how attractive a person may be, moles and warts can often affect their overall look. While some warts, like those on the lips or chin, are sometimes seen as beauty marks, others, especially on unwanted areas of the face, hands, or body, are viewed as blemishes. For many, their presence becomes a cosmetic concern, leading people to seek simple remedies to reduce or remove them.
According to Ayurvedic doctor Shalini Jugran, warts are quite common and are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). They can appear on the face, hands, legs, stomach, or back, and many people seek natural ways to remove them safely at home.
Quick Remedies For Warts
Dr Jugran suggests that lime can be applied on warts found on the body, but it should be avoided on the face as it may cause burns.
For facial warts, a gentler home remedy is recommended. Mix half a teaspoon of Kasturi Haldi, two teaspoons of baking soda, one teaspoon of aloe vera gel, and the juice of half a lemon in a bowl. Apply the mixture using cotton on the wart and leave it overnight. By morning, the wart may begin to fall off naturally.
Onion Juice For Warts
Onion juice is also an effective remedy, thanks to its antiviral and antibacterial properties. Simply grind an onion, extract its juice, and apply it once a day on the affected area. Another option is to mix onion oil and honey with flaxseed paste to make a natural pack. Regular application of this mixture can help remove warts within a few days.
