Ananya Panday celebrated the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi with her family in Mumbai. Ananya took to Instagram to share a series of images from the auspicious day. The post featuring the Ganesha idol and her family members was captioned as: Welcome home my favouritestttt Bappa.
Ananya Panday wore an ivory chanderi kurta set designed by renowned fashion designer Surily G. The ensemble features gota work and mirror hand embroidery in geometric motifs. Looking comfortably chic in the simple traditional silhouette, Ananya completed the look with a soft tulle dupatta. Draped over one-shoulder, the scallop-edged dupatta and the tiny tassels tailored on the edge of bell sleeves added festive cheer to Ananya’s overall style.
Minimal yet relatable, Ananya’s occasion wear is a must-have this festive season. You could also style the kurta with a pair of jeans to add a modern allure to your look. Ananya’s understated glam and soft wavy hairstyle completed her festive look with elan. Timeless and elegant, Ananya knows how to make a statement on and off the screen with her style.
Ananya’s mom and actor Bhavana Pandey aced the festive look in an old rose printed kurta set from The Loom. The comfort marrying couture look features delicate old-rose pink chintz print on premium chanderi. The A-line kurta features tassel detailing along the yoke adding a playful, bohemian twist to the classic style. Bhavna paired the kurta with a regular fitted pants. The highlight of this kurta are the sequins and hand embroidered dori work that adds festive cheer to Bhavna’s overall style quotient.
While Ananya and Bhavana chose to keep it traditional, her sister Rysa opted for the classic jeans and kurta style look for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The vibrant pink kurta was enhanced with white floral prints making it a go-to look this festive season. Matching Rysa’s festive energy, Chunky Panday too paired his elephant-motif half-sleeved shirt with a pair of jeans. Riot, Ananya’s pet dog, too joined in the celebrations.
Lord Ganesha was placed against a massive backdrop decked up with an array of fresh flowers in myriad colours. Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 is celebrated for 10 days and we can’t wait to see how Bollywood stars celebrate the festival in style.
