The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) will establish cricket stadiums at all 33 district cricket centres in the state to enhance grassroots cricket and provide top-notch facilities for young players.
RCA Adhoc Committee Convener, DD Kumawat, announced that the state government has tasked the newly formed RCA Adhoc Committee with reviving cricket in Rajasthan, developing infrastructure, and offering young players opportunities to compete at high levels.
“Our committee is diligently working to meet this responsibility. District-level stadiums will not only offer players professional training environments but also allow RCA to host state-level tournaments across various districts,” Kumawat stated.
The RCA Adhoc Committee has devised a plan for district-level stadiums and formed a 7-member Ground and Stadium Development Committee led by Ashish Tiwari.
The committee will identify suitable land, oversee the allocation process, manage lease agreements, and ensure timely construction with support from District Cricket Associations and CSR funds. Ground and Stadium Development Committee members include Ashish Tiwari as chairman, along with other members. The RCA Adhoc Committee emphasized that the Cricket Ground and Stadium Development Committee, under the leadership of Ashish Tiwari, will pinpoint land for stadiums at all 33 district centres in the state.
The committee will manage land allocation, contracts, and lease processes as necessary and ensure the prompt construction of stadiums with the aid of CSR funds, District Cricket Associations, and the RCA. It will strive to serve the best interests of the young players of Rajasthan.
