Apple iPhone 17 launch event officially has a date, and as most rumours suggested, the company will be unveiling its new iPhones early next month. The new iPhone 17 series is tipped to get four models once again but Apple could rejig the lineup by removing the Plus moniker and introducing its new iPhone 17 Air variant, which goes up against Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge in the market.
We should also see the premium iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models that will be looking to up the ante on the new Pixel 10 series and Samsung’s 2026 flagships.

The latest iPhone 17 Pro model launching this year will carry a 5,000mAh battery, as highlighted in a Weibo post by tipster Instant Digital.
The iPhone 17 model is expected to get the dynamic island along with a 120Hz display but without the ProMotion adaptive refresh rate tech. With all these upgrades and the tariff risk hanging over Apple’s head, the iPhone 17 series launch price could be higher than last year.
The iPhone 17 Pro price, going by the rumours, could start around Rs 1,39,900 which will be a significant bump on the iPhone 16 Pro launch price of Rs 1,19,900 last year. The iPhone 17 Pro Max price could go as high as Rs 1,64,900 when it launches this year.
