The now-deleted post hinted that Apple’s 2025 hardware event could be held on September 9, sparking buzz among fans and tech watchers, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
A tipster, who goes by the handle ‘Apple Leaker’ on X (formerly Twitter), shared a screenshot of the accidental post, which seemed to display an official invite for the upcoming event. The image carried Apple’s signature glowing logo set against a purple-hued backdrop, similar to visual themes previously spotted on MacBook Air wallpapers.
Although the post was swiftly taken down, it has led many to believe the leak has all but confirmed the expected event date. Apple is likely to make a formal announcement before the end of August.
What Apple May Unveil
If the leak holds true, the September 2025 showcase will feature the debut of the much-anticipated iPhone 17 line-up, alongside new Apple Watch models and upgraded AirPods.
Industry chatter suggests that the iPhone 17 range will include four versions—iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. All are rumoured to be powered by the next-generation A19 chip, which should deliver stronger performance and improved efficiency.
In addition, Apple’s upcoming iOS 26 update is expected to bring a host of AI-driven features, further enhancing the user experience across devices.
With just weeks to go until Apple’s official word, excitement is building for what could be one of the company’s most significant product launches in years.
Meanwhile, Apple is expanding iPhone production in India across five factories, including two recently opened plants, as part of its effort to reduce reliance on China for US-bound models, Bloomberg has reported.
For the first time, all four iPhone 17 models — including the pro-level versions — are being manufactured in India ahead of their launch next month. According to people familiar with the matter cited by Bloomberg, the devices will ship from the South Asian country from day one.
