Google brings the new Pixel Buds 2a version to the Indian market.
Google Pixel 10 launch in India has come along with the Pixel Watch 4 and the new Pixel Buds 2a version. The new TWS earbuds in the Pixel series are targeting the lower end segment compared to the Pixel Buds Pro variant that competes with the other Pro earbuds in the market. You don’t get all the premium features on the Pixel Buds 2a but Google is making sure that people buying these get a basics covered, and quality music experience.

Google Pixel Buds 2 is priced in India at Rs 12,999 and you will get it in two colour ways in the market.

The new Pixel Buds 2a come with 11mm dynamic drivers and also equipped with Google’s Tensor A1 chip which is tuned for better audio performance and transmission. It does get adaptive ANC support which also has the transparency mode so that the Pixel Buds 2a adjusts to your surroundings and isolates the sound based on that.
There is also the Silent Seal 1.5 feature that should offer better comfort while wearing these earbuds.
It gets Bluetooth 5.4 v for connectivity and you have dual microphones and mesh coves that promise clear voice calling experience. The in-ear detection is available, so that whenever you take them off, the playback stops and it restarts when you wear them back. Surprisingly, there is no mention of Gemini voice support through the Pixel Buds 2a which may have been reserved for the Pro variant by the company.
You have the same support with the charging case for pairing with the devices, and the capacitive touch controls help you manage the volume and playback through the buds. The case gets IPX4 rating and weighs 47.6 grams with the buds inside. Google claims the Pixel Buds 2a can last up to 27 hours when you keep the ANC turned off. While the number drops to around 20 hours when you enable ANC and use the earbuds.
