MakeMyTrip’s new feature helps travelers book accommodations near India’s national parks. Covering 100+ parks and 2,000 hotels, it offers tips and info for easier safari access.

MakeMyTrip, India’s leading online travel company, has rolled out a new initiative to make it easier for travellers to discover and book accommodation around national parks. The feature, billed as an industry-first, aims to solve a long-standing challenge faced by wildlife enthusiasts — finding hotels and homestays near the right park zones and entry gates for easier safari access.
The platform now covers more than 100 national parks across India and has mapped over 2,000 hotels and homestays to their nearest park zones. With this update, users can simply search for a national park or even a specific gate to instantly view accommodation options located inside or outside the park, sorted by proximity.
To further support planning, the platform also includes a ‘Tips’ section offering practical details such as park operational hours, entry protocols, peak visitation seasons, transport routes, and links to official state tourism websites.
“India is home to more than 100 national parks and over 1,000 protected areas, offering immense potential for wildlife tourism. On our platform, searches for national parks have doubled over the past two years, a clear sign of the growing interest among travellers.
