Google Pixel 10 launch is on August 20 and the leaks have told us a lot about them
Google Pixel 10 series is launching this week, both globally and India. Now, we are getting some more details about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold model that the company will be looking to offer as a rival to the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Vivo X Fold 5 devices.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold renders suggest Google is unlikely to make wholesale changes to its design, including the camera layout. But now we are hearing some good news about the new Google foldable that could be a lot more durable than its predecessors.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Specs Revealed
The latest Pixel 10 Pro Fold leak hints at Google offering IP68 rating for better durability and also make it the first foldable to come with this level of protection. Having said that, Google might not bring a lighter model this year, as the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could measure around 258 grams, which is over 40 grams more than the new Samsung and Vivo Folds.
The other major Pixel 10 Pro Fold upgrade could be related to the storage specs which is now said to be moving from UFS 3.1 to UFS 4.0 tech for the first time. We are hoping this change is not limited to the foldable and comes across all the Pixel 10 models.
Rumours say the Pixel 10 Pro Fold price in India could be Rs 1,72,999 which makes it lower than Samsung’s Fold 7 model.
We are keen to see the official Pixel 10 Pro Fold clips from Google but its availability might be delayed this year. A recent report hinted that the Pixel 10 foldable and the new Pixel watch might not be available soon after their official announcement.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds 2a and the new Watch 4 could be available somewhere around October which is more than a month’s delay in the market. In fact, these devices might get beaten by the new iPhone 17 series from Apple that are expected to be unveiled in September.
