What Is Endometriosis?
A report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that Endometriosis can cause severe pain during periods, heavy or irregular bleeding, painful sex and even infertility. Those suffering from the condition often experience pain in the abdomen, lower back or pelvic area and diagnosis for the same is not always easy, as regular gynecological checkups may not always detect it.
