While the Tashkent operations are scheduled to begin from September 1, the Almaty flights will take off from September 2.
The airline will offer four flights in a week from Mumbai to these locations.
Earlier, the company started direct flights from Mumbai to Georgia’s Tbilisi from August 2.
IndiGo already has direct flights to these locations from Delhi. However, they were suspended temporarily due to airspace closure by Pakistan.
The airline has also started long-haul flights from Mumbai to Amsterdam and Manchester recently.
“With these, IndiGo will further strengthen connectivity from the country’s financial capital to destinations within India, as well as across the globe,” Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, said in a statement.
Tickets for the new flights can be booked by customers through IndiGo’s website or app.
