Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain were the very first guests on Elvish Yadav’s YouTube podcast. The conversation featured a range of intriguing questions from the vlogger, sparking a heartfelt discussion about the couple’s personal and professional lives. During the chat, Elvish also asked Ankita about her past projects, including Comedy Circus, where she was paired with Kapil Sharma.

Elvish Yadav asked Ankita Lokhande why Sumona Chakravarti was chosen over her to work with Kapil Sharma on his comedy show. In response, Ankita explained that she wasn’t close to the comedian, emphasising that they were simply colleagues. She said, “Kapil and I did work together, but I don’t share that bond with him. We aren’t friends, we were colleagues, and that’s about it. Sumona did great with the show, and it’s been so many years now.”

As the conversation progressed, Elvish Yadav asked Ankita Lokhande about her experience working on the film Manikarnika alongside Kangana Ranaut. He also revealed that Ankita didn’t charge a fee for the project. Confirming this, the actress said, “Yes, I didn’t charge for that film, and it was an amazing experience to have Kangana as our director. I got to learn many new things on set.”

However, the podcast also stirred controversy when Elvish jokingly asked if she would play Alia Bhatt’s mother if offered the role. Ankita responded sharply, saying, “Kyun? 40 saal ki lady buddhi ho jaati hai? Main kahi se bhi 40 saal ki lagti hoon?” She added, “Nahi. Kyuki main nahi lagti Alia Bhatt ki maa.”

Elvish Yadav and Ankita Lokhande are currently seen in Laughter Chefs 2. Besides the two, the cooking-based show also features Vicky Jain, Rahul Vaidya, Reem Shaikh, Rubina Dilaik, Abhishek Kumar, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Samarth Jurel, Sudesh Lehri and Nia Sharma. Hosted by Bharti Singh, the show airs on Colors TV.

Apart from Laughter Chefs, Elvish also serves as a gang leader on MTV Roadies XX: Double Cross alongside Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula and Gautam Gulati.
