Once good friends, Bigg Boss 17 fame Mannara Chopra and Abhishek Kumar appeared to have gone their separate ways. Fans recently noticed that the TV celebs have unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to speculations of their friendship going through a rough patch. While neither Mannara nor Abhishek has formally addressed the matter on social media, the actress appears to have confirmed the rift.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Mannara Chopra shared that she did not have any specific reason behind unfollowing Abhishek Kumar. Keeping silent on the speculations surrounding a rift in their friendship, Mannara further specified that she doesn’t want to comment on the matter. On the other hand, Abhishek Kumar is yet to make a comment.
Amid all the discussions, fans have been really quick to react, as many filled the comment sections and fan pages with various theories and questions. It seems like they have to wait a bit longer to discover whether the separation is just limited to social media or extends to their real-life bonding.
Abhishek Kumar and Mannara Chopra first met on Bigg Boss 17, where their bond quickly blossomed into a close friendship that continued beyond the show. Since then, the duo has reunited for several get-togethers and even collaborated on the romantic music video Saanware. They also showcased their playful chemistry on Laughter Chefs 2, whipping up dishes and laughter in equal measure. While Abhishek continues to be a part of the show, Mannara exited midway due to other professional commitments.
“Moving on is never easy, especially when it feels like you’re leaving behind a family. But with prior commitments demanding my attention, it’s time to say goodbye to my Laughter Chef family that I have made,” the actress said in a statement.
With the recent developments unfolding, fans have been hoping to see the two friends back together. Only time will tell whether it is a temporary misunderstanding or a complete fallout.
